19:35.
literally and metaphorically, always wanted to.
as a child, i wondered how it will feel if i jump
off the 12th storey.
when i got older
and understood the world and its wares, i
wanted out but then, as hobbes said to calvin,
it’s too late to refuse to inherit the earth
since we are here already.
so here am i.
i want to fly
doesn’t mean i want to live in a fairy tale land
of perfection.
“those who wait upon the Lord will renew their
strength. they will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.”
-isaiah40:31
the words of the prophet is how it started.
and i want the fulfillment of the promise to be
how my life ends. i will like to have flew in this
life and be flying still when i breath my last.
